On Tuesday, a Buchanan County jury found Dakota Slagle guilty as charged of two counts of&nbsp;Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree, victim less than 12 years of age.

Slagle was charged for events that occurred in a residence in St. Joseph between 2020 and 2022. The case was successfully tried by Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Monica Morrey, assisted by Buchanan County paralegal Charity Johnston. 

A final sentencing will be held on May 7, 2026.
