Adam Metzger, 58, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025.
He was born September 10, 1966 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Paul Metzger and Carolee Rose Simmons.
Adam married Leslie Ivy, who preceded him in death.
He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, video games, and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Leslie; and nephew, Jeffery Belden.
Survivors include his mother; children, Anthony Metzger, Christian McCoy, and Caylie McCoy; siblings, Marie Gaston (Forrest), Kenneth Belden (Michele), Ronald Belden, Tina Ann Bessent, and Paul Metzger (Lisa); numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends; significant other, Chastity Ayers and her children, Ashley and Matthew, and grandchildren.
Celebration of Life 1:00 to 4:00 P.M., Saturday, July 12, Morrill Baptist Church. Inurnment Rulo Cemetery, Rulo, Nebraska. Cremation under the direction of Simplify Cremations & Funerals. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Disabled American Veterans.
