ATCHISON COUNTY—A Kansas man was injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Thursday in Atchison County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Keegan J. Wood, 19, Onaga, was southbound on U.S. 73 four and one half miles south of Atchison.
A deer ran into the roadway, struck the motorcycle and the Kawasaki overturned.
EMS transported Wood to Amberwell Health. He was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
