A St. Joseph teenager has been treated for a couple of minor gunshot wounds after a shooting Tuesday night at 21st and Lafayette Streets in St. Joseph.
St. Joseph police report dispatchers received several calls about gunshots fired in the area shortly before 11 o’clock. Callers reported up to 20 shots were fired. Witnesses tell police two subjects shot multiple rounds from a dark SUV. Officers arrived at the scene and found multiple shell casings.
Shortly afterward, a 17-year-old black male juvenile arrived at the emergency room with two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
There are no suspects at this time. The investigation continues.
