St. Joseph Central's Ali Perry a state champion in girls' golf, East Buchanan places fourth

St. Joseph Central's Ali Perry ended her high school golf career with a state championship in the Class 4 state golf meet at Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar.

Perry shot a 74 on both days of the tournament and finished with a two-day score of 148, tying for first with Page Bowman of Glendale.

Perry, a senior, medaled seventh at state her junior year and placed 13th as a sophomore.

Class 1 in Sedalia

South Harrison won the team title in Sedalia with a team score of 821 - 24 strokes ahead of second place East Atchison.

East Buchanan finished fourth as a team with a score of 866. Anna Kenagy was the highest placing Bulldog in the field, finishing 24th overall with a score of 208.

On the individual leaderboard in Class 1, Bishop LeBlond's Claire Heater tied for 16th with a two-day score of 202.

Class 2 in Joplin

Maryville finished fourth in the team standings with a score of 749. Four Spoofhounds finished in the top 25, led by Cailyn Auffert, who tied for 16th with a score of 182.
