ANDREW COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Tuesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by a 73-year-old Savannah woman was southbound on Business 71 and slowed to make a left turn onto southbound Interstate 29. The driver failed to notice a northbound 2025 Ford Bronco driven by a 15-year-old Country Club girl. The Ford struck the side of the Chrysler. After impact the Chrysler traveled off the road and struck a guardrail. The Ford rolled onto its passenger side.
Andrew County EMS transported both drivers to Mosaic Life Care. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
