NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after noon Thursday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Buick LeSabre driven by Sophia A. Ferguson, 18, Maryville, was westbound on MO 46 at Hawk Road.
The driver lost control on the icy road. The car traveled off the north side of the road, struck a tree and fence.
Nodaway County EMS transported Ferguson to Mosaic in Maryville. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
