Arthur Bradford, 74 of Lansing, KS passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Rose Hill, VA on March 3, 1949 to Arthur and Linda (Brock) Bradford.
On Sept 1, 1972 he married his sweetheart, Marty (Miller) Bradford. She survives at the home. Art is also survived by his four children, twin daughters Dee (Troy) Hohensinner, Debbie (Mike) Hickman, and two sons, W. Bradford and Michael (Kristie) Bradford, all of Leavenworth. Eight grandchildren, Cody (Amanda) Bradford, CJ (Ariane) Jamerson, Shelby Bradford, Breana (Lee) Hickman-Carter, Austin Hickman, Christian Bradford, Noah Hohensinner, and Ethan Hohensinner, nine great-grandchildren and two sisters, Ida Hammersley, Fleta Agee and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Art was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
After serving his country for 20 years in the US Army and living all over the world he began his career with Munson Army Hospital and made a home in Lansing KS. Art was a loving family man who enjoyed having them all together. He loved fishing, hunting, Chiefs football, and playing with model trains with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10-11am on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at Davis Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth KS. His funeral will follow at 11am at the chapel. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 12:30 with military honors.
