The Missouri House of Representatives easily passed HB 2082 late last week (104-21), taking a significant step forward for Missouri Farm Bureau's mission to provide health care plans for its members. In an interview with KFEQ, Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins noted that it really boils down to making health care affordable.
Garrett says Farm Bureau has received guidance from other states success and selected the best features from those programs.
The bill now moves on to the Missouri Senate where it will align with an existing measure for passage.
