A pilot was injured after failing to take off from Rosecrans Memorial Airport shortly after noon Sunday.
Rosecrans officials report the pilot was the only one on the privately-owned plane. As the plane began takeoff it ran off the runway and crashed into a fence.
The pilot was taken to the hospital for treatment.
