UPDATE: Every reports it has restored power to nearly all St. Joseph area customers. Just before 9am, the utility reported 11 active outages remain, affecting 62 customers.
Nearly 30,000 St. Joseph area residents are without power this morning.
Evergy reports 47 total outages in St. Joseph with seven in Country Club, and three in Savannah. The utility reports 29,030 customers without power at 5am.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports it has been made aware of the city-wide power outage. Evergy has been notified and is working to get power restored.
