Water will be shut off for the residents of Oregon and Forest City late tonight to install a valve between the two cities.
The city water supply will be shut off at 11 o’clock this evening. Oregon city officials expect the water to be shut off for up to three hours. Missouri Department of Natural Resources regulations require the city to issue a boil order afterward until further notice.
