Sharon E. Burkeybile, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026.
She was born October 29, 1948 in St. Joseph to Roy and Barbara (Christy) Gregory. She grew up in St. Joseph and was a graduate of Central High School.
On May 21, 1977, Sharon married Allen Dale Burkeybile. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2018.
She worked at Sisters Hospital before getting married and raising her family.
Sharon loved reading her Bible and sharing her faith with everyone. She also loved animals, especially her cats.
She was preceded in death by her her husband of 41 years, Allen; her parents; brother, Warren Neal Gregory; and in-laws, Gilbert Burkeybile and Martha Shipers.
Survivors include her children, James Burkeybile and Jason Burkeybile (Tami); grandchildren, Elliot Burkeybile and Allister Burkeybile; great-granddaughter, Aria; sisters, Vicky Schneider and Laura Coburn (James); uncle, Robert Gregory; nieces and nephews, Stephen Schneider (Crystal), Carson Coburn, and Sierra Coburn; other extended family and friends.
