HOLT COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 8a.m. Wednesday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Western Star 5700 driven by Brett M. Johnson, 57, Council Bluffs, was southbound on Interstate 29 just before U.S. 59.
The truck traveled off the road, through the median, skidded across all northbound lanes, struck an embankment, a tree, overturned and spilled cargo.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported Johnson to Mosaic Life Care. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
