Frances Elizabeth Fry, 59, of Pattonsburg, MO, passed away October 13, 2023 in Kansas City. She was born September 1, 1964, in Kansas City, to Steve and Kay (Stennett) Creasey.
She was baptized at Dayspring Nazarene Church in Springfield. Frances graduated from Hillcrest High School in Springfield. She then graduated with a Bachelors in Education from Missouri State University. She taught special education at Niangua and Savannah School Districts.
She served as a representative of the Missouri Foster Association and served on the board of the Missouri Environment Education Board. Frances was a foster/adoptive parent fostering 43 children - several who continue to call her mom to this day.
Frances married Edward Fry on October 25, 1995 and he survives of the home. Also surviving are children Chris Lane, Michael Lane both of Springfield; Clinton Fry of Harrington, Delaware, James Fry of St. Joseph, Cordelia Hilton of Springfield; Michael Adamson of Pattonsburg; 13 grandchildren; brothers Kenneth Estes of Springrield, Steve (Junior) Creasey of Pleasant Hope; a niece; two nephews; several great-nieces and nephews.
She loved fishing, stock car racing, rock hunting, spending time in Black Hills, SD, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park. She loved animals; raising rabbits, ducks, quail, aquarium fish, and a support miniature schnauzer dog, Inola. She had a facebook show selling paparazzi jewelry.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel in St. Joseph, MO. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
