ANDREW COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just after 2:30a.m. Monday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Todd K. Nelson, 42, Amazonia, was northbound on Route T one half mile north of Amazonia.
The car traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree stump and overturned.
Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Heaton-Bowman Smith Funeral Home. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
