John T. Holder, 86, of Gower, MO passed away July 2, 2024.
He was born on June 1, 1938, to Lawrence Eugene and Alma Glorina (Hiland) Holder near Gower where he grew up and graduated from Gower High School.
After high school, John was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Judy Kay Cone. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg and later moved to Gower where they made their home. Judy passed away on October 28, 2021.
John was preceded in death by his wife Judy Holder, his parents Spec and Alma Holder; his son Jimmie Don Holder; his grandson Teryl Holder; and his brother Jimmie Holder
He is survived by his son Jeff Holder, Sr.; grandson Jeff Holder, Jr. and Jake Holder; great-grandsons Aiden and Avery; his brother Hiland Holder; his sister Wilma Adkins; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
