She was born October 8, 1946 in St. Joseph to Harold and Anna (Smith) Carver. Marsha grew up in St. Joseph and graduated from Bishop LeBlond High School in 1964. She then earned an Associate’s Degree from Platt-Gard Business College.

Marsha was an auditor for the State of Missouri for 20-plus years.

Faith was a large part of Marsha’s life. She was an active member of both St. Patrick and St. James Catholic Churches and also volunteered at the churches as well as the local food kitchen.

Marsha enjoyed sports throughout her life. She loved to bowl, play softball, and volleyball, then coached her children’s and grandchildren’s basketball teams.

Most of all, Marsha was the most loving and accepting person you’d ever meet. Her children’s and grandchildren’s friends were welcomed into her house as family. She was a wonderful cook and baker who loved to feed everyone, with her Christmas candy being a family favorite.
