Carolyn Jean (Haze) Clark, 78, Savannah, Missouri, passed away on February 27, 2024. She was born on July 24, 1945, in Turlock, California, to Cecil R. and Jacquelyn A. (Keys) Haze.
Carolyn graduated from Alameda High School in 1963. She led a fulfilling career with American Family Insurance, where she performed many roles over the years, dedicating her time and talents to the company. Her dedication extended beyond her professional life and into her contributions to her community. Carolyn was a devoted Girl Scout Leader for many years, inspiring numerous young women with her leadership and kindness. A faithful member of Savannah Baptist Church, she embodied the values of compassion and community service in her daily life.
Carolyn's zest for life was reflected in her various hobbies, which included ceramics, tote painting, and scrapbooking—endeavors that showcased her artistic talents and her love for preserving memories.
She first married Jerry Linn Townsend on March 24, 1964, who preceded her in death in 1997. Her heart found love again, and she married Walter Bruce Clark on September 1, 2000, with whom she shared many cherished moments.
She is survived by her husband, Walter B. Clark; daughters, Karen Townsend Guinn and Lori Townsend Aistrope; step-daughters Wendy Sisk, Jodi Duncan (Greg), Jennifer Lundy (Jeff), and Carie O'Neal (Tim); and her precious grandchildren, Zackery Aistrope, Colby Aistrope, Brady Aistrope, Jacob Richie, Hana DeJarnette, Emily Guinn, Jacob Lundy, Jessie Lundy, Jenna O’Neal, Nelson O’Neal, Rylan Duncan, Zachary Duncan, and Wade Duncan; numerous great-grandchildren; and aunt, Margie Malone.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Jerry Linn Townsend, brother Bob Haze (Kiara, David, and Bobby), and sister Patricia Haze (Jimmy).
