Sharon Kay Hoffman 72, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 in a St. Joseph, MO hospital. She was born February 23, 1951 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Lora Mae and Earl "JR" Phillips. She graduated from Lafayette High School class of 1969, and she was in the house cleaning business most her life. She enjoyed plants, flowers and yard work, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Catholic. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: son, Scott (Cari) Hoffman of Pekin, IL, daughter, Laura (Jason) Follmer, Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren, Madison, "K.K." Kaelyn, & Kennedy Follmer, Ella & Tate Hoffman, brothers, Frank (Nancy) Phillips, St. Joseph, MO, Chuck (Susan) Phillips, Leavenworth, KS, and Sam (Andrea) Phillips, St. Joseph, MO.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home.
