Dorothy Louise McGarry, 91, of Weston, MO, passed away May 7, 2026.
Dorothy was born February 21, 1935, in Choctaw County, Oklahoma, to Claude and Leona (McQueen) Harless. She married Raymond Howard McGarry on June 19, 1953, at the Baptist Church of Soper, OK. The family moved to Weston, MO, on December 16, 1960.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents, Claude and Leona (McQueen) Harless; James Harless and Johnny Wayne Kirkpatrick; and her son, Mark McGarry.
She is survived by her sister, Sue Cushman of Harrah, OK; her sons Russell McGarry of Brownsville, OR, John (Lindsey) McGarry of Freeport, FL, Brian (Sandi) McGarry of Euless, TX, Justin McGarry of Spring Hill, KS, and Ted (Susan) McGarry of St. Joseph, MO; 12 grandchildren; 8 great‑grandchildren; and 4 great‑great‑grandchildren.
A private family graveside service was held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Weston. Arrangements by: Rollins Funeral Home, Platte City, MO.
