Charles "Curt" Paste February 17, 1961-December 22, 2025

Charles C. Paste, affectionately known as Curt, passed away on December 22, 2025 in St. Joseph, Missouri at the age of 64. Born on February 17, 1961 in St. Joseph, MO, he was the beloved son of Gayle and the late Lawrence Paste. Charles was a dedicated husband to Diane Navinskey, and a loving father to his daughters, Danielle Pryor and Brandi Hill.

Charles was a passionate individual who found joy in racing, particularly dirt track racing, and loved riding his Harley Davidson. He cherished his trips to Sturgis, and treasured the time spent with his grandchildren, who were his greatest joy.

Professionally, Charles was an owner/operator at Hometown Construction and later at Road Builders. He was also a proud member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, where he was known as Least Quiet Sky Eyes.

He is survived by his mother, Gayle Agee, his wife, Diane, his daughters, Danielle and Brandi, his sisters, Cyndie Jones and Sherri McDonald, and his cherished grandchildren, Skylar, Charlee, Eric, Savanah, Owen, and Logan. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Paste.

Charles has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home, and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
