CLINTON COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Wednesday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Ford Ranger driven by Creighton J. Russell, 31, Cameron, was northbound on Interstate 35, a mile and a half north of Holt.
The driver lost control of the pickup. It entered the median, struck a guardrail. After impact, the driver was ejected and struck by a semi.
Russell was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
