Cambria Nicole Jo Peters 2006 - 2023

Our precious angel, Cambria Nicole Jo Peters, 17, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 4, 2023. 

She was born on September 26, 2006, to Andrew Peters and Amanda Coots in St. Joseph, Missouri. She attended Central High School.

Cambria was an aspiring makeup artist who was very passionate about her craft. She had dreams of attending cosmetology school to pursue her career in the makeup industry. 

She was known for her infectious smile and laughter, and her sarcastic humor. Her friends loved her for her huge heart and how she always spoke up for those whose voices were unheard. She was the best big sister, a caring friend, and beloved daughter and granddaughter. 

Her family and friends hope that Cambria knows how much she is loved and missed already.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Edwin and Linda Meier, Karen Karns, Patrick Kelly, Conrad Hernandez and Robert Wilson, Sr., and her grandfather, Robert Wilson, Jr.

Survivors include her father, Andrew Peters; mother, Amanda Coots; siblings, Slade Coots, Adelaide Fadden, and Gracie Everhart; grandparents, Shawn and Kathy Kelly, Rodney and Brooke Peters, Clint and Tisha Fischer; aunts and uncles, Patrick Kelly (Crystal), Melissa Wilson (Adam Howell), Trevor Peters (Taylor), and Madalyn Peters; great-grandparents, Rodney Karns, Nancy Kelly, Fred and Sue Peters, Sandra Wilson, Robert Horton and Rosemary Hernandez, and numerous other family members.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will gather with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Cambria’s Funeral Fund.
