Ellis Grier, 74, of Gower, MO passed away January 15, 2026.
He was born July 24, 1951, to Ralph and Patricia Grier. He grew up in rural Gower, MO. In 1969 he graduated from East Buchanan High School. Ellis received a Diesel Technology Degree from Chillicothe Vo Tech in Chillicothe, MO.
Ellis was a Farmer, a Diesel Mechanic and a Patented Inventor. He was known as a man who could fix about anything. Most of all he was a stable loving father.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Patricia Grier; his brother Thomas Grier and his sister Sharron Kay Bennett.
Ellis survived by his son Joseph Grier and Fiancé Diana Yaley; Melody Grier-Shaw and Husband Sydney Shaw, Sr.; his grandchildren Melana Shaw and Sydney Shaw, Jr.; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22nd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Gower, MO.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Noyes Home.
