DEKALB COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 4:30a.m. Wednesday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Hyundai Sonata driven by Emily R. Dunlap, 17, Maysville, was eastbound on MO 6 just west of Weatherby.
The vehicle struck a cow and calf in the road.
A private vehicle transported Dunlap to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
The MSHP did not report what happened to the animals.
