DULUTH – Tracy L. Ivy, 58, of Duluth, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Community Hospital in Onaga.
She was born December 1, 1964 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the daughter of Vondel and Janice Havenstein O’Briant. She graduated from Manhattan High School, Manhattan Community College with a degree in computer technology and received certification as a CDL driver through Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Tracy worked at Kansas State University for ten years, Ag. Resources for eleven years and also worked in the deli at the Onaga Country Market.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Duluth.
December 14, 2002 she married the love of her life, Steve Ivy in Wheaton. They blended their families and made a home in Duluth where they enjoyed hosting their annual community fish fry for family and friends.
Tracy was preceded in death by her husband, father, and a son, Richard Eugene Ince.
Survivors include her mother, Janice O’Briant, Onaga; her children, Tiffany Sanders (K.J.), Havensville, Stormy Millering (Dennis), Manhattan, Jeremiah Ivy (Jessica), Wamego, Danielle Ivy, Hutchinson, Anna Henneberg (William), Wheaton and Joshua Ivy, Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Thomas O’Briant and Timothy O’Briant, both of Manhattan; a sister, Crystal Sapp, Manhattan; thirteen grandchildren, Waylon, Carson, Braylon, Casey, Luna, Clayton, Hunter, Trenton, Kameron, Colby, Christian, Jax and Marshall, nieces, nephews and many friends, all of whom she loved deeply.
Tracy was an unconventional carefree spirit and touched many lives along her journey, even in her passing. As an organ donor, she was able to help others thru cornea donation.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 18th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Duluth. Family and friends will meet from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until service time at the church. Inurnment will follow the service in St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery.
