HARRISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 4a.m. Friday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Freightliner semi driven by Montora A. Johnson, 38, Waterloo, IA, was southbound on Interstate 35 six miles north of Eagleville.
The semi's left front tire detached. The vehicle crossed the media and struck a northbound 2015 Freightliner semi driven by Thomas C. Einerson, 58, Olivia, Minnesota.
Lifeflight Eagle transported Einerson to Unity Point Health in Des Moines. Johnson was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained according to the MSHP.
