Mary Lou Boeh 1930 - 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce Mary Lou Boeh of Troy Kansas passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on September 25, 2022 at the age of 92.

Mary Lou was born on July 1, 1930 to Frank and Agnes (McGauhey) Stock in St Joseph Mo. She attended grade school at St Francis and then high school at Covent Sacred Heart in St Joseph, Mo. She graduated high school in 1948 and began working at Southwestern Bell.

In 1951, Mary Lou married Adrian Boeh of Troy Kansas. Adrian and Mary Lou moved to a farm east of Troy Kansas where they lived for 55 years while raising 10 children.

Mary Lou decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic, wonderful mother and grandmother. Her dedication to her family was unwavering often making three meals a day for 12 people. While she was an excellent cook for her family, she also grew beautiful gardens and did an enormous amount of canning. Mary Lou was very involved in her grandchildren’s lives and was always there with her children to help with newborns. She took regular visits across the U.S. to visit her children and grandchildren often.

Mary Lou was passionate about and loved to sew clothes and make outfits for her family. When not taking care of the family she enjoyed her bowling leagues, golf and playing cards. She also loved to travel. She was a member of the St Charles Catholic Church in Troy Kansas and also served on the Alter Society.

Mary Lou was predeceased by her parents Frank and Agnes (McGauhey) Stock; husband Adrian Boeh; Daughter Julie Hayes; Granddaughter Hillary Anne Boeh; Siblings Virginia Ann Stock, Barbara Skillman, Larry Stock, Jack Stock, Rita Burns;

She is survived by her children Jeff (Anita) Boeh Bradenton Florida, Nancy (Eric) Garrison Kansas City Missouri, Dan (Margo) Boeh Crawfordsville, Indiana, Joan Boeh Olathe Kansas, Jim (Lisa) Boeh Leawood Kansas, Barbara Boeh Sedona Arizona, Mary Boeh, St Joseph, Missouri, Joe (Kelly) Boeh Lenexa, Kansas, Brenda (Chris) Beaty Olathe Kansas; Twenty-five grandchildren; Twenty-one great grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces;

Visitation and funeral services will be held at St Charles Catholic Church in Troy, Ks on Saturday October 1st. In lieu of flowers donations to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org) appreciated.

Visitation: 9:30am

Rosary: 10:30am

Mass: 11:00am

Burial After Mass (St Charles Catholic Cemetery)

Lunch: 12:30pm (all are welcome…church basement)
