
DEKALB COUNTY—A St. Joseph man was injured in an accident during a police pursuit just before 9p.m. Sunday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy Cruze driven by Matthew L. Pfleiderer, 30, St. Joseph, was fleeing from officers southbound on MO 33 at U.S. 36 one mile north of Osborn.
The driver failed to negotiate the turn in an attempt to turn northbound on MO 33. The car traveled off the west side of the road and struck an embankment.
Officers arrested Pfleiderer on requested charges of carless and imprudent driving, no seat belt and interference with arrest, according to online jail records. DeKalb County Ambulance then transported him to Mosaic Life Care.
