GENTRY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Monday in Gentry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 43-year-old Kansas City, Missouri man was northbound on MO 85 two miles south of Albany. The driver swerved to miss a deer. The car traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The car returned to the road, traveled off the west side of the road and struck a tree.
Grand River ambulance transported the driver to Mosaic in Albany. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases the names of accident victims.
