The St. Joseph Police Department investigated a reported threat at Spring Garden Middle School this morning.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports that School Resource Officers were immediately notified of the threat and began investigating the report in accordance with established school safety protocols. It has been determined that at this time there is no known threat to Spring Garden or any other school in the district. If an investigation determines a criminal offense has occurred, the St. Joseph Police Department will work with the appropriate prosecuting authority to pursue charges against those responsible.
The St. Joseph Police Department says the safety of the students, school staff and community remains a top priority.
