Timothy "Taco" Joseph Rivera, 65, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at his home in St. Joseph. He was born March 4, 1960 in St. Joseph, son of Cecelia "Sue" Lieffring and Joseph Rivera. Taco married Margaret Clary on May 19, 2001. He spent many years working as a Truck Driver. Taco loved his Harley and going fishing. He always had a way to make you laugh.
He was preceded in death by father, Joseph Rivera, and step-father, William "Bill" Lieffring. Survivors include his mother, Sue Lieffring of St. Joseph, his wife, Margaret Rivera of St. Joseph, son, Tyler Rivera of Omaha, NE, step-daughter, Misty (Steve) St. Clair of Easton, MO, brothers, Jimmy Rivera, Rick (Susan) Lieffring and Michael Lieffring, sisters, Angela (Danny) Williams, Alesia Rivera, Lori (Billy) Thomas, all of St. Joseph and granddaughter, Morgan Kerns of Easton, MO.
Mr. Rivera has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Taco Rivera Memorial Fund, c/o Rupp Funeral Home.
