Charlene Bishop, 86, of Dearborn, MO passed away, February 10, 2026.
She was born on December 28, 1939 to Morgan Daily and Violet Dawn (Galbreath) Goodpaster in Marion, Indiana where she grew up and attended school.
On March 20, 1965 she was united in marriage to Walter Everett Bishop. After their marriage they farmed near Weston for many years. Her husband preceded her in death in 2010. Charlene took care of her family her entire life. She loved painting, gardening and cake decorating.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Michael Goodpaster and David Goodpaster; and sister, Anna Cox.
Charlene is survived by her children, Walter Bishop and Florence (Todd) Schmimmel; grandchildren, Terry Snider, Morgan (Samantha) Snider, and Dylan Bishop; great-grandchildren, Delilah, Sophia, Remington, Morgan Jr, Melody, Sylas, Matthew; sisters, Bill Jean Lovelady and Becky O’Connor; brother, J.B. Goodpaster; her beloved dog, Scout; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
