NODAWAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 7a.m. Thursday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Nissan Cube driven by Holly L. Smiley, 49, Maryville, was eastbound on U.S. 136 one mile north of Conception Junction.
The vehicle struck a deer in the road. Nodaway County EMS transported Smiley to Mosaic in Maryville. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
