A program at the St. Joseph Public Library, hosted by Spire Community Outreach, will help residents learn to reduce energy use, lower utility bills, improve comfort, and increase the safety of their homes
On Thursday, November 5th, at 6pm, the East Hills Library Branch of the St. Joseph Public Library will host the Spire team for the Energy Efficiency and Weatherization Program, located at 502 N. Woodbine Rd. During the program residents will learn about weatherization measures they can take, heating and cooling improvements, energy-efficient programs offered at Spire, and an Energy Assessment that can be done at home.
Also on site will be an LIHEAP representative from Community Action Partnership to assist with the application process for utility assistance. Adults should register to save their seat. For information or questions on the program, you can contact Elizabeth Murray at 816-236-2136.
