Edwin Andrew Shivers, age 57, of Allen, Texas passed away February 21, 2026. He was a devoted husband of his wife of 30 years, Jennifer, and a loving father of Edwin Shivers II, Jessica Shivers, and Ethan Shivers.
Edwin was born to Ed and Daisy Shivers in Brussels, Belgium. Edwin grew up in multiple states as a military child and spending majority of his childhood in Leavenworth, Kansas graduating from Leavenworth High School. He attended the University of Kansas and graduated with his Computer Information System degree from Emporia State University. He married Jennifer Aufdemberge in Leavenworth, Kansas in 1995. He worked for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Plano, Texas for numerous years before returning back to college to obtain his Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from Texas Tech University. He has most recently been an employee of the Veteran Administration Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Edwin will be remembered for his dedication to his family, amazing smile, and unwavering kindness. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Shivers of Allen, Texas; children, Edwin Shivers II, Jessica Shivers and Ethan Shivers, mother, Daisy Shivers of Allen, Texas, and sisters, Connstance Shivers-Smith of Kansas City, Kansas and Jacqueline Nichols, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and 4 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Ed Shivers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5 from 5-7 PM at Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6 at 10 AM at Davis Funeral Chapel with graveside services to follow at Mount Calvary. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
