The Central Region champion Minnesota State women’s basketball team is onto the Final Four after a 93-88 win over Georgia Southwestern at Civic Arena in St. Joseph late Monday night.

The Mavericks (30-5), who beat Missouri Western in the first round of the NCAA tournament on March 15, will now face Cal State-San Marcos (27-6) on Wednesday night at 8:30 in the national semifinals.

Cal State-San Marcos defeated Gannon 85-80, Monday evening.

Texas Woman’s (33-4) and Ferris (26-5) will meet in the Final Four on Wednesday night at 6.

The national title game is set for Friday night at 7. The national title and the semifinals Wednesday will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
