Sandy Jacobs, 79, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023.
She was born August 13, 1944 in Denver, Colorado.
She was a teller for several local banks.
Sandy had been a Sunday School teacher at Hyde Park Foursquare Church and formerly attended the Evangelistic Temple. She was a caregiver to Rev. Evelyn Taylor for five years.
She enjoyed going to Pizza Ranch for the chicken and loved turkey legs and stuffing at holiday meals.
Sandy considered her longtime caregiver Marsha Jenkins to be family along with Marsha’s children and grandchildren. Sandy also had many friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Marsha’s grandson, Bryton Bohon; and several cousins.
Survivors include her longtime caregiver, Marsha Jenkins; Marsha’s daughters, Rayne Harper and Chrystal Szuba and their children, Jenica and Dalton; and friends, Ron and Sandy Nickols, and Marilyn Shanks.
No services at this time. Burial at Ebenezer Cemetery at a later date.
