MERCER COUNTY—A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Friday in Mercer County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1986 Chevy C\30 driven by Jeffery M. Mueller, 62, Bethany, was on U.S. 136 five miles west of Princeton.
The pickup traveled onto the north fog line and the passenger side rearview mirror struck a blue and purple giant bicycle driven by Amy L. McDaniel, 48, Princeton, who was traveling on the north shoulder.
The bicyclist was ejected and later airlifted to KU Medical Center.
Mueller was not injured and not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
