ATCHISON COUNTY—A Kansas man with a history of skipping court is back in jail.
On Monday, police arrested 43-year-old Richard D. Burge II of Atchison on a District Court warrant for failure to appear in court, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
In September, police arrested him on a District Court warrant for domestic battery and criminal damage to property and District Court warrants on four counts of failure to appear in court, according to Wilson.
In July of 2022, he was booked into jail in Atchison on a requested charge of domestic battery for altercation at a residence 1200 Block of Kansas Avenue in Atchison, according to online jail records.
