Helping men take a step towards early detection, the Mosaic Life Care Cancer Care Center will offer free prostate cancer screenings later this month for men 50 and older.
Prostate cancer affects one in eight men in the United States and remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths among men. However, when detected early, prostate cancer is highly treatable, making screening an important part of preventive health care. Men age 50 and older are encouraged to participate in the free screening event, which includes a simple blood test used to identify potential signs of prostate cancer. Screenings will be available for two days at the Cancer Care Center.
- Friday, September 25th from 4 – 7pm
- Saturday, September 26th from 7:30 – 10:30am
Participants should check in at Mosaic Cancer Care, located at 902 N. Riverside Road in St. Joseph. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins will be accepted while supplies last. Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
