Amy Sue Vaughn, 55, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023.
She was born on April 27, 1968, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Cecil D. and Sandra M. (Leake) Vaughn. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1987.
She was most recently employed at Price Chopper, where she brought smiles and laughter to the customers she interacted with.
Amy’s passion was bowling. She loved the thrill of the game and the camaraderie that came with it. In her younger years, she also enjoyed pitching during baseball games.
Amy was an animal lover who doted on her two beloved German Shepherds. She had a caring heart and was an excellent caregiver to her father before he passed and continued to provide care for her mother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Vaughn.
Survivors include her mother, Sandra Vaughn, and her siblings, Chris Vaughn and Lori Kessler (Tully).
