🎥 Gov. on COVID-19, alleged threat against state capitols

TOPEKA – Governor Laura Kelly held a press conference Wednesday, to give an update regarding COVID-19 information for the state of Kansas. She was also asked about security precautions at the capitol ahead of President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration. The FBI has warned of plans for armed protests at all 50 state capitals and in Washington, D.C..

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Kansas increased by 4539 to a total of 252,041 the state health department reported Wednesday afternoon. 

Coronavirus deaths were reported at 3355 an increase of 100
