Michael Paul Williams, 82, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was born September 15, 1942 in El Monte, CA, son of Mildred and Ora Williams.
He graduated from Portage High School in Portage, MI, class of 1961. Following graduation, he served in the United States Navy until 1966. On February 13, 1988, he married Louella Smith. Michael worked at Carnation Can and retired from Silgan Containers. He enjoyed woodworking and enjoyed building model ships. He also enjoyed spending time working in the yard and playing the piano. He was a religious man and a strong believer in the Lord.
Michael was preceded in death by wife, Louella Williams, his parents, brothers, Richard "Dickie" Lee, William and Dencil "Denny" Budgett, his best friend and companion, Judy Fuelling.
Survivors include children, Rodney Williams of Edison, Ohio, Michael (Tamera) McMillian of DeKalb, MO and Michelle McMillian of St. Joseph and sister, Gail Rodewald of Wathena, KS.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday. Pastor George Baugh officiating. The Interment will be at the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Rushville, MO.
