There will be less of the normal events but just as much paranormal activity this year during Haunted Season in Atchison, Kansas.
Andrea Clements with the Atchison Chamber of Commerce says they won't be having as many large group events due to the pandemic, but they're offering small group tour packages of four haunted places.
"The historic Mount Vernon Cemetery, that's a walking tour, and then the haunted 1889 McInteer Villa and a history mystery walking tour of the old, historic residential district in Atchison and then, of course, the historic, infamous Sallie House tour," Clements says. "They're really the premiere things in Atchison as it relates to haunted and mystery in Atchison."
The haunted tour weekend packages will be available for October 16th or 17th. "Haunted Season" in Atchison typically runs from the end of September through the month of October.
