Tina Lynette DeLuca, 55, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024.
She was born October 24, 1968, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to Johnny and Sylvia Jean (Nelson) Long.
She married Salvatore DeLuca in 2009, who survives of the home. Tina and Sal shared many special memories during their time together.
Tina took pride in caring for her son, Jordan, and supporting him with his disability. She enjoyed watching him thrive, and spending time with him and her grandson, Liam.
Tina was a warm-hearted, giving woman who used her caring personality throughout her working years as a server. She started working for Bandana’s BBQ in 2015 and made countless friendships among coworkers and customers. She was well known for her “amazing sweet tea”. Her Bandana’s family meant the world to her.
She was a crafty and creative lady who had a special love for plants, flowers, candles, frogs, and her cats, Nico and Mia. Tina loved music, singing and dancing. She was a great dancer.
Tina enjoyed getting dolled-up and she always had the best hair and makeup. She was a strong, intelligent and forgiving person who will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Nelson, son, Landon Bennett, and grandmother, Eleanor Nelson.
Survivors include her husband, Salvatore DeLuca; father, Johnny Long; children, Jordan Lynch and Keerstin Bennett; siblings, Tammy Hightower and Gary Bowman; three grandchildren; best friend, Kelly George, and numerous other friends and family members.
