ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating alleged domestic violence have made an arrest.
Just after 2a.m. on October 24, police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block Riley Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
EMS transported an injured 44-year-old woman to the hospital for treatment and later released.
The 27-year-old suspect identified as Zachary C. Elmore was not at the scene. On Wednesday, police arrested Elmore on requested charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property.
