Evergy reports scattered power outages throughout Buchanan
County this morning, leaving slightly more than 6,000 residents without electricity
this morning.

Ice brought down power lines throughout the St. Joseph area
last night, knocking out power to nearly 22,000 residents from 343
outages.

Evergy reports 347 outages remain, yet the number of
residences without power has dropped significantly.

Workers remain out throughout the area, restoring power in
wake of the area’s first winter storm.
