William Roy Weese, 72, of St. Joseph, MO, sadly passed away on February 5, 2024.
He was born on January 30, 1952, to William H. and Lois Jean (Stewart) Weese in Gentry County, MO.
William lived on his family farm a good portion of his life before moving to St. Joseph. He attended the Gentryville Church. He spent a lifetime enjoying the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time of the farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Virgil (Pete) Stewart and a brother-in-law Jim Hays.
Survivors include his stepfather Virgil Stewart of Atchison, KS; sister Vivian Hays of St. Joseph; brothers Randy Stewart of St. Joseph, Kenneth Stewart of Atchison, KS; nephews James Hays, Jr. and Jeremy Hays (Holly) of St. Joseph; great-nephew and niece Dalton and Nevaeh; as well as other nieces and nephews.
William was a friend to everyone he met. He dearly loved his family. He loved to help others and will be dearly missed by so many.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Graveside services will be Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at Gentryville Cemetery, Gentryville, MO.
